Your journey beyond induction
There’s lots to tell you about when you’ve passed your probationary period. Here
are a few of the highlights for you to watch out for….
Mid-Year Review/End of Year Review
We have two points in the year where formal Reviews of your work happen. This is
a chance to both look back and review progress against expectations and also
to look forward and plan the months ahead. It’s also a good opportunity to have
a broader conversation with your line manager about any particular career
aspirations that you may have.
Salary Review
Each March we conduct a review of salaries for anyone who has been at
JacTravel for 6 months or more. Your line manager will let you know the outcome
of the review process before the end of March.
Put Your Feet Up On Your Birthday
Once you’ve passed your probationary period we’re giving you your birthday
day off to say “Happy Birthday” and please put your feet up!
Training and Development Programme
We have a range of training workshops that offer skills led training on a variety of
areas. Have a look on Octopus HR under “Company Information” and you’ll find
our latest Learning and Development brochure there. Select a workshop that you
feel you would benefit from attending and then book your place via Octopus
with your line manager’s agreement. We also offer programmes if you’re a team
leader or manager. Again, you’ll find details in the brochure, alternatively,
